How Much Does TDM Signage Cost? Prices & Examples

Per-screen prices are a useful starting point, but most organizations want to know something more practical: how much does TDM Signage cost for their own setup? The answer depends on four things: cloud or on-premise, the plan, the number of screens, and whether extra hardware or training is needed. This guide explains each one and works through real cost examples for cloud and on-premise setups.

Key takeaways

TDM Signage is priced per license, so each screen that runs the software needs one.
There are three plans: Essential at €14, Small Business at €21, and Enterprise at €25 per screen per month.
Longer contracts cost less, with 5% off for 3 years and 10% off for 5 years.
Many displays run TDM without extra hardware, while other screens can use the TDM Player for a one-time fee of €195.
Support is free on every cloud plan, and training is optional.
TDM is also available on-premise, with a one-time license of €400 per screen plus €42 per screen per year for maintenance.

How does TDM Digital Signage pricing work?

TDM Signage uses a simple per-screen licensing model. Each screen that runs TDM Signage needs one license, and the price of that license depends on the plan an organization chooses.

The plan decides which features are available. Essential covers the core tools for creating and scheduling content, Small Business adds integrations and Windows player support, and Enterprise adds reporting, interactive signage, and Microsoft enterprise integrations. Each plan includes everything in the plan below it.

The contract term affects the price as well. Prices are based on a 1-year term, while organizations that commit for longer save 5% on a 3-year term or 10% on a 5-year term. Companies can move to a higher plan later by contacting the sales team, and larger networks or tailored deployments can ask about custom pricing.

Most organizations use TDM Signage in the cloud, with a monthly price per screen. Companies that want to host the software on their own server can choose TDM On-Premise instead, which uses a one-time license per screen plus a yearly maintenance fee. Cloud prices are also listed on the TDM Pricing page. The tables below show both options:

Each plan is explained in more detail below, so it is easier to see which one fits best.

Essential: €14 per screen per month

Essential is the entry plan, designed for organizations that need the core tools to create, schedule, and publish content. It suits a single location or a small network of displays with a built-in operating system. The plan includes:

  • content management from a web browser
  • all design elements and more than 200 templates
  • news, weather, and social media content
  • content scheduling and broadcasting
  • Dropbox and OneDrive integration

This plan is a practical starting point for teams that want professional-looking digital signage without integrations or advanced reporting.

Small Business: €21 per screen per month

The second tier is the Small Business plan. It’s also TDM's most popular one, and it adds the integrations that growing teams often need, including everything in Essential, plus:

  • custom data sources and connected apps
  • calendar integrations
  • custom fonts
  • Mail to Signage
  • a user logbook
  • support for Windows players
  • regular updates and new apps

This plan suits schools, offices, and multi-location businesses that want their screens to show live information, such as schedules and calendars, or that use Windows-based players.

Enterprise: €25 per screen per month

Enterprise is built for larger organizations with stricter requirements for security, reporting, and integration with Microsoft tools. It includes everything in Small Business, plus:

  • Proof of Play with reports
  • interactive signage
  • Power BI integration
  • SharePoint integration
  • single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure)

These features help IT teams apply their existing login policies to TDM, while communication teams can show live business data and confirm that content played as planned.

TDM On-Premise: €400 per screen, plus €42 per year

TDM On-Premise is the self-hosted version of TDM, and it includes all Enterprise features. Instead of a monthly subscription, each screen needs a one-time perpetual license of €400. A yearly maintenance license of €42 per screen is recommended, as it covers support and software updates. For example, 10 screens cost €4,000 in perpetual licenses and €420 per year in maintenance.

The software runs on the organization’s own Windows server, which the organization provides and manages. The TDM team installs and configures it. On-premise suits businesses whose IT policies require data to stay inside their own network. More details are on the TDM On-Premise page.

What else affects the total cost?

The software license is the main cost of TDM Signage, but hardware, training, and installation can add to the first-year total. Support is free on every cloud plan, and on-premise customers get support through their maintenance license.

Hardware: is a media player needed?

Many organizations do not need any extra hardware. Displays running Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, or Android can run TDM directly. This digital signage platform also works with Sony Bravia and Philips D-Line displays. Windows players are also supported starting from the Small Business plan.

For displays without a supported system, TDM offers the AAVH-X106MH Signage Player for a one-time fee of €195 per screen. This compact Android 14 player connects through HDMI, supports 4K output at 60 frames per second with HDR, and works with Power over Ethernet (PoE). It comes with an 18-month warranty, and it is priced separately from the software license.

Training: optional, from €499

Training is optional, and many teams get started with TDM Digital Signage without it. For organizations that want a structured introduction, the company offers Basic and Advanced training starting at €499. The sessions cover content creation, playlists, scheduling, screen management, and the features included in the chosen plan. Basic training focuses on the essentials for new users, while Advanced training goes deeper into scheduling, integrations, and content workflows.

Support: free for every cloud customer

Support is free for every TDM Signage cloud customer, on every plan. Organizations get help with setup, content creation, scheduling, screen management, and player configuration through the ticket system, the knowledge base, email, or phone. Because support is included, there is no separate support contract to budget for. For TDM On-Premise, support and updates are part of the optional yearly maintenance license. Learn more on the TDM Support page.

Installation and partners

Installation is not part of the TDM Signage license, and its cost depends on the setup, such as how many displays need mounting, cabling, or a network connection. Many organizations arrange this with an AV installer or reseller. TDM Signage also works with a network of partners and resellers that sell and support the platform, so organizations can buy and install through a local partner if they prefer. For TDM On-Premise, the TDM team installs and configures the software on the organization’s own Windows server.

TDM Signage cost examples

The examples below show what TDM Signage costs for a small shop, a school or office, and a large multi-site network in the cloud, and for two organizations that host TDM on their own server. Each one combines the license costs with the hardware and training that a typical setup of that size might need.

In the first year, the cloud is clearly cheaper: from €28,999 for the cloud Enterprise plan on a 3-year term, compared with from €44,699 for TDM On-Premise. The difference comes from buying all perpetual licenses up front. After that, the balance shifts. The cloud network costs €28,500 per year, while the on-premise network costs €4,200 per year in maintenance. In license costs alone, on-premise becomes the less expensive option during the second year. After three years, the total is €85,500 for the cloud and €52,600 for on-premise.

It’s important to note that the on-premise figures do not include the organization’s own server, the Windows Server license, or the IT time needed to manage them, while the cloud price already covers all three.

The cloud is the better choice for organizations that want a low upfront cost, predictable yearly costs, and no servers to manage. It also suits teams that want to start quickly, add screens gradually, or test the platform first with the free trial.

On-premise is the better choice for organizations whose IT policies require data to stay inside their own network, as is often the case in government, healthcare, and finance. It also suits businesses that plan to use the same setup for many years, prefer a one-time software investment over a subscription, and already have the IT capacity to manage a Windows server.

These examples cover licenses, maintenance, players, and training only, and they do not include installation.

How to get started with TDM

The easiest way to find out what TDM will cost and deliver for a specific organization is the 30-day free trial. It includes two demo licenses with access to all features of the plan selected during setup, and no credit card is needed to start.

During the trial, teams can connect real displays, build content from the templates, and test scheduling in their own environment. That makes it easier to choose the right plan and number of licenses before buying. Organizations with larger networks, or those that prefer a guided introduction, can also book a demo or contact the TDM sales team to discuss custom pricing.

For TDM On-Premise, organizations can book a demo with the TDM team, or explore the interface through the cloud trial.
